As Partner, Blake M. Chapman leads the accounting and auditing department for Stephano Slack. Formerly a senior manager at a regional accounting firm, Blake brings more than 15 years of diversified accounting, auditing, tax, and financial reporting experience.

Before entering public accounting, Blake served as controller of a prominent manufacturing and processing company where he was responsible for all aspects of tax and accounting. While holding that position, Blake implemented procedures for financial controls, data processing, and inventory control emphasizing lean manufacturing principles and evaluating various cost accounting methods. In that role, he also developed capital and operational budgets as well as cash flow forecasts.

Blake works closely with clients at Stephano Slack, and has developed a deep understanding of numerous accounting systems. His experience covers many areas including manufacturing, construction, distribution, broker dealers, private equity, hedge funds, real estate funds, and a wide variety of commercial service organizations. Blake also has considerable experience with defined contribution audits.

Blake received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Wesley College in Dover, Delaware. He is a member of the American and Pennsylvania Institutes of Certified Public Accountants as well as the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants.
